Online Reservations: Please see your booking terms on your quote.
Full Refund, less a 3% credit card service fee, will only be given if cancelled within 24 hours of making the reservation.
ALL Reservations made after January 23, 2024, for any date in 2024 or beyond are subject to new cancellation terms:
FULL REFUND (less 3% service fee) only if cancelled within 24 hours of making the reservation, or we have to cancel your booking due to travel bans, fire evacuation ORDER, or any issues with sites/cabins etc..
50% REFUND only if cancelled with minimum 14 days prior to your arrival date. Group bookings (2 or more cabins or rv sites) require 45 days notice prior to your arrival date.
NO REFUND You forfeit your entire deposit if you fail to cancel within the time frames below:
14 days notice for single bookings
45 days notice for group bookings (2 or more RV sites/Cabins or combination of)
SPECIAL NOTE:
If you fail to arrive by 11 am the day following your original reserved arrival date, your site/cabin will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund.
If you decide to leave earlier than your originally reserved check out date, no refund will be given.
PEASE REMEMBER:
You are responsible for all days YOU booked. We do NOT have a contract with mother nature, and we do not refund early departures due to slow fishing, bad weather, bugs, or wildfire smoke. Look into travel insurance for this.
BC has a fire season. If the resort is put under evacuation ORDER (not a notice) or you are unable to travel to the resort due to a travel ban surrounding our area that make access impossible, deposits will be either refunded (less a 3% credit card fee) or held on file for future use.

CHECK IN is between 3pm - 8pm (We have a gate that locks at 8pm, let us know if you plan to arrive later)
CHECK OUT is by 11am
Please be considerate and observe check in/out times – we likely have another guest arriving and need the time to properly clean and prepare.
Late check out charges will apply.
Late Arrivals/Check ins
Arrival after 8pm, without prior notice, will result in a $20 plus gst late check in fee.
If you cannot make it or do not show up by 11 am on the 2nd day of your reservation - It will be assumed, you are not arriving at all and your site will be cancelled with no refunds given.

Reservations can only be made via email or online in order to have a paper trail of your details.
A deposit is required to hold the reservation, the remaining balance will be due upon ARRIVAL.
Deposit amount will depend on your length of stay, (roughly 25% of total booking).
Reservations made with a deposit locks in your quoted rate. Prices are subject to change at anytime without prior notice.
Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Any offence of our rules, policies, or other, which disrupts peace, safety, or enjoyment of persons at the Resort, may result in the offender being asked to leave without refund. There may be fines/charges for choosing to ignore any of the Resort Policies and Rules.

ENTIRE RESORT
Pinantan Lake Resort and it’s employees reserve the right to refuse service and/or evict any person that violates our policies and rules at any time without refund.
Fees/Fines: (not incl. gst)
$ Cost to replace or repair- Any item, building, infrastructure, boat rental etc..
$150 ~ Not properly disposed of cigarette butt or smoking in non-designated areas.
CABINS
Currently, we do not charge a general cleaning fee or pet fee for our Cabin reservations. We can and will charge your credit card on file if cabins are left excessively dirty, for dirty/ not put away dishes, missing items from the cabins, dirty BBQ, stains, broken furniture etc..

$25 ~ If any items from your Cabin end up in other cabins and not returned
$50 ~ Dogs in Beds (Hair on Beds and/or Futons)

$ Actual cost to replace or repair ~ Broken furniture, stains, holes in walls, scratched flooring etc..

Registration and full payment is required by all guests on day of ARRIVAL.
Payment can be made by interac, etransfer, VISA, or Mastercard. AMEX is not accepted.
A required form will need to be filled out and signed upon check in.
We must have a head count for who is staying on site at all times for safety and security.

We love dogs BUT…
PRIOR APPROVAL OF YOUR PET BEFORE ARRIVAL IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF BOOKING
Dogs are NOT welcome in the office, on the office deck, or to chase/be near our horses, goats, or cat.
Nightly RV Site rentals are allowed MAX 2 pets (dog or cat) with prior approval. No breed or size restriction. All pets must be well behaved & NON-AGRESSIVE.
Cabin Rentals: No cats. 1 large dog >30 lbs or 2 small dogs <30 lbs.
Owners assume all liability and responsibility for their pet’s behavior, must always have control of their pet and promptly pick up after them.
Dogs must always be on a leash of MAX 6 feet- no retractable leashes please. While at your RV site, dogs may be tied on a longer line, but must not intrude onto neighboring campsites, or you may set up a kennel area.
Do not leave dogs unattended onsite. Please keep your dogs as quiet as possible.
We reserve the right to evict any nuisance animal and owner from the resort at any time.

There is absolutely NO SMOKING anywhere on the property EXCEPT for YOUR cabins outdoor patio or on your RV Site. No where else on the property are you permitted to smoke.
A $150.00 fine/cleaning fee will be charged to anyone who chooses to disobey the non-smoking policy or do not properly dispose of cigarette butts.
We take fire safety very seriously; we will not hesitate to evict any person/s not adhering to our smoking policies.

Lakefront Cabins: Comfortably sleep 4 adults. We can accommodate families of up to 6 in one cabin. There are not six beds in the cabin. If you have more people, then you need to book more cabins. MAX occupancy is 6 guests.
Rustic Cabins: Comfortably sleep 3 adults or a family of 4. MAX occupancy is 4 guests.
Dogs are not allowed on beds or furniture.
All rentals are subject to a $150 cleaning fee if left dirty.
Dishes are to be washed and put away or a $25 dish cleaning fee will apply.
VISITORS
We currently do not charge for visitors, so please be respectful so we don’t have to!
Visiting hours are from 8am-10pm. Max 4 visitors per campsite/cabin.
Guests are responsible for the actions of their visitors, and visitors are NOT PERMITTED to bring pets.

Bringing Your Own Boat
Personal boats on trailers must be launched at the public boat launches, a minute from the resort. Full sized vehicles are prohibited on our waterfront.
Don’t have your boat on a trailer? Don’t worry, we can help! Please ask staff when you check in if you need assistance. Some days we may not have anyone to help physically lift with you, but transport on our quad trailer to/from the lake is available everyday.
We offer this service for free, so tips are always appreciated, and we will only be able to help when we have time, so please be patient.
Moorage
Moorage for guests is free when you are staying with us. First come-first serve on the docks- so you may have to pull it on to the side of the beach if no spots are left. Please ask staff is you are unsure of where to moor.

NO check in to RV park after dark for safety reasons.
VISITORS
We currently do not charge for visitors, so please be respectful so we don’t have to!

Please drive cautiously and OBEY THE SPEED LIMIT of 10 km/h. This rule is for safety and to keep down the dust.
All vehicles must stay on designated roadways so as not to damage land or vegetation or disturb wildlife/animals.
MAXIMUM 2 vehicles per reserved RV site or Cabin and must park in the PARKING LOT.
All vehicles license plates need to be registered at the office upon check in.
ALL OTHER MOTORIZED VEHICLES
All motorized equipment brought onto the resort property must be insured with liability and registered with ICBC or another province/state.
This includes but is not limited to: Golf Carts, ATV/UTV’s, dirt bikes, motorcycles, scooters, vehicles, RV/trailers.
Vehicles must stay on the gravel roadways at all times. ATV’s, UTV’s and dirt bikes must be driven off the property by the shortest route available so as not to loudly disturb neighbors.

BC has some terrible fire seasons, to keep our property safe we only have communal fire pits. Do not put cans, bottles, plastic, food, or rocks in the communal fire pits. Only wood and nothing else please.
Firewood is provided near each pit for your use.
Only CSA Approved PROPANE Fire Pits are allowed to be used at RV sites and outside cabins.
Use of fireworks or other explosives are prohibited on resort property, without the explicit permission of the resort Management.
Barbecues are permitted but must not be left unattended.

We seek to provide a calm, peaceful atmosphere for all guests.
Long weekends may be a bit noisier than others, please be aware of this before booking, perhaps booking during the week would suit your needs better.
We will enforce our quiet time of 10pm-8am on a complaints basis.

PLEASE DO NOT FEED our animals! The horse and goat area is fenced and under video surveillance.
Do not enter fenced areas or let your children or pets either.
We take the horses out to ride around the property or hand walk them- if you see us, you are welcome to come pet them but please ask first and approach slowly.
The black property cat (Willy) roams around freely, so please keep your dogs on a leash to avoid them chasing the cat or horses. He is extremely friendly and may try to enter your accommodation, please remove him or ask staff to if he tries!
The office dog Bowie is very friendly and loves to greet guests! Do not feed him treats (he gets lots!). The office/deck area is his, as he thinks, so we ask not to bring your dogs on the deck or into the office to avoid any territory issues.
This is also our home and we live on site, so respect of our rules, policies, and property is expected.
Please respect other guests and visitors of the resort. We welcome EVERYONE here.

The resort does not have cell service, but the office phone can be made available for emergencies.
Our WIFI is patchy at best and is not long range. We do not guarantee its usability, and kindly ask to not use streaming services.
We like to advocate for you to get off-grid and enjoy the sights and sounds of our beautiful area and connect with those you came here with!

Please do not put non-septic friendly items down the toilet/sinks, our septic is VERY sensitive. Toilet paper is the only septic friendly item, NOT paper towel, feminine hygiene products, dental floss, grease or oils.
To protect the natural beauty of our resort, please do not remove or destroy any plants, fossils, or rocks. NO CUTTING OF TREES OR BUSHES.
Prevent pollution. Keep garbage, litter, and foreign substances out of lakes, streams, and other water.

All water activities and sports, and all activities done on our property are done AT YOUR OWN RISK. There is no lifeguard on duty. We do not hold any liability for injuries that occurred on the resort property or in/on Pinantan Lake, or while using our free-use water sport equipment.
Waivers for any boat rentals will be required. All guests are expected to pay for any damage beyond general wear and tear of boats and equipment. We expect all equipment to be returned in good working order.
Free use life jackets are available from size Infant to XL.
A Canadian Boater’s License may be required depending on the rental. Renters must be 16 years or older to rent anything with a motor. Anyone under 18 years old requires parent/guardian consent.

Please remember to bring your own fishing tackle, equipment and bait, we no longer have any for sale/rent.
A valid fishing license is required on our lake so please obtain this before arrival, if you plan to fish.
Disposal and proper clean up of all fish guts and carcasses is expected. A fee will be charged if we have to clean up after you!
Fishing line and hooks- PLEASE do not leave these lying around or leave in cabins, they ruin our vacuums and are unsafe for the next guests if hooks or line is missed.

The Sauna is available to reserve in advance anytime of year.
Hours: 9am- 9pm daily.
1. No alcohol, No glass
2. No children under 16 yrs of age
3. You must use a towel to sit on, the cedar is easily stained from oils in your skin.
4. Do not enter if pregnant.
5. Exit the sauna immediately if you experience faintness, dizziness, pain, or shortness of breath.
The Sauna will be preheated before your pre-booked session, and automatically shut off after 30 minutes. If you booked a session and you do not use the sauna, you will still be charged for the session.
